DMO Dicamba-Resistant
Soybean Testing

News and Information

EnviroLogix is pleased to announce the launch of its QuickStix Kits for DMO (dicamba mono-oxygenase), testing for dicamba-resistant soybeans in bulk loads.  Soybeans that have been genetically modified to resist the dicamba herbicide contain the DMO protein and are sold under the trade name Roundup Ready 2 Xtend™.

With European Union approval still pending for the stacked GMO event, soybean growers, elevators, exporters and processors may be in need of a rapid method to screen bulk soybeans to detect dicamba-tolerant soybeans in the supply chain. EnviroLogix has the test kits needed, offering a test time of 5 minutes, to check incoming trucks as well as storage bins at the level of one DMO soybean in a pool of 400.
