What to do if my reader and PC are not connecting?

Check to make sure your reader and PC have the same software versions. If not, contact Tech Support. If the software versions are the same, do the following:

  • Turn off reader and PC
  • Turn PC on and wait for it to boot up
  • Turn on reader and wait until it is ready – the yellow light on the front of the reader will go from flashing yellow to solid yellow
  • Open DNAble Desktop sw and connect
